Ring, ring.

“Thank you for calling Perfect Match, where it is our goal to get you to your soul mate. This is Liliana speaking, how may I—”

“Cute opening but listen. It’s Tucker,” Tucker said, interjecting into Lily’s opening. Lily sat quietly, confused as to why he seemed like he was in such a rush. Before she could even ask if he was okay, he started to speak again.

“I... Well, I need to come in and speak with you. Do you have another client in front of you right now? I hope you don’t because I am right by your office...”

Liliana looked at her phone and looked up at her door. Sure enough, there he was.

“What? Couldn’t get enough of me and you wanted to see me already? Aren’t you precious,” Lily said with a chuckle.

Tucker sat in front of her desk and smiled at her, avoiding her question like it was the plague. Lily caught his vibe and blushed a little bit. She did her best to keep her composure, knowing that this was more than just innocent flirting and that he was there to find his match. She sat up in her chair and grabbed a notepad to set on her desk.

“So, what is it?” She asked as she tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear.

“Well, I wanted to tell you about my date!” Tucker stated as he sat back into his chair, running his hand through his hair with a smile on his face.

“I’m assuming it went well? Based on how urgent you made it seem.”

“Ha, no. You would think. I mean, the date went well... Up until she tried to put her hands all over me and demanded sex. That was upsetting.”

Lily chuckled and bit her lip, containing herself from laughing more.

“Ah, I see. See, I told you that looks aren’t everything. I notice now that you really want someone with heart and a good personality. That won’t take too long. You’ll catch vibes off woman before you know it. Anyway, shall we meet for lunch tomorrow? We can discuss more then, and I have some other ideas in mind. We’ll have fun.”

Tucker tilted his head and flashed her his award-winning smile. That sounds ideal.
